Amy believes in constantly extending her education as an instructor as well as a rider. She spent multiple winters in Ocala, Florida training as a working student under Debbie Adams. During these times, she attended multiple clinics and symposiums to continue her education. Amy still makes a point to lesson and clinic multiple times a year with top riders like Boyd Martin and Carol Kozlowski to ensure that she stays up to date with her own education and skills and applies them directly to her training program.
