Career Highlights
Amy has competed on the national and international circuits since the age of 5. Since her first FEI competition at age 18, she has had multiple top 20 finishes from one star to four star. Just to mention a few, in 2005, Amy was a member of the 2005 NAYRC Silver medal team with High Sierra and placed 4th and 8th at Bromont CCI** with High Sierra and Ghost of Figgy respectively. In 2008, Amy completed 5 FEI competitions at the CCI** and CCI ***with Ghost of Figgy and notably placed 8th in the 25 and Under National championship at Fair Hill. Ghost of Figgy also placed 16th in the 2011 Fair Hill CCI***. In 2015, Amy competed with Jet Set Guy at the Ocala Horse Properties CCI* shortly before moving him up to the Intermediate level. Amy also had multiple top 10 finishes nationally with all of these horses she brought through the levels herself since being purchased as 3 yr olds.
Amy believes in constantly extending her education as an instructor as well as a rider. She spent multiple winters in Ocala, Florida training as a working student under Debbie Adams. During these times, she attended multiple clinics and symposiums to continue her education. Amy still makes a point to lesson and clinic multiple times a year with top riders like Boyd Martin and Carol Kozlowski to ensure that she stays up to date with her own education and skills and applies them directly to her training program.
